M. Remie Tankvaart has been navigating Europe’s inland waterways with two tankers for over a quarter of a century. The company has extensive experience in and knowledge of transporting heavy fuel oil products and other bio-based and mineral oil products.

Quality and safety are paramount to us. Our ships and the associated technology meet the required standards for transporting these products. In addition to transporting products from A to B, we can also deploy one of our ships to refuel seagoing vessels.

Owner Mark Remie is a boatmaster in heart and soul. As the fifth generation of Remie Tankvaart, he was born into the trade.
His father had been transporting oil products since the sixties, so it was a logical step for Mark to continue on his father’s path. He took the helm in 1994 and further expanded the transport of oil products under the name M. Remie Tankvaart. He had two new tankers built according to the requirements of the petrochemical industry.

M. Remie Tankvaart’s fleet now consists of the Sombra and the Scaletta, two tankers operating throughout Europe’s inland waterways from the Netherlands. Together with the captain and crew of both ships, Mark Remie guarantees the safe transport and responsible loading and unloading of the products. People and the environment are at the forefront of all operations. Mark Remie’s experience, knowledge of laws and regulations, and high ambitions ensure the company’s continuous development.
